FALL 2005

The day has slipped by
unnoticed
rain and fog all autumn
in seattle

No one can say
nor should they
a silent dream
half remembered

A playful waltz
wafts from afar
the numinous sadness
in a child's dog's eyes

A foreign woman
sings on the radio
judge not
lest thou be judged

A divorce
a bodhisattva
a little organ in a box
everything
